Sharon Brayfield is president and chief executive officer of SKBC Consulting, LLC, a resort consulting agency located in the Dallas-Forth Worth area of Texas. In this role, Ms. Brayfield meets with clients, manages marketing efforts and builds the companyís website. In addition, she sets up appointments and handes travel arrangements. Ms. Brayfield brings a wealth of experience to her role at SKBC. Prior to joining the company in early 2011, she served as a consultant for Silverleaf Resorts. During her 29-year career with Silverleaf, she worked in a variety of supervisory positions, including executive vice president, president and chief operating officer. Her accomplishments with Silverleaf†were considerable, as she helped the company expand its holdings to 13 resorts in six states. A former accounting student at Southeast Missouri State University, Ms. Brayfield is an adept leader and relationship builder who has cultivated industrywide business connections through her active memberships in organizations such as the American Resort Development Association. Ms. Brayfield attributes her success in the resort industry to both her work ethic and her common-sense approach. In the future, she hopes to continue to help SKBC expand its client base. When she is not working, Ms. Brayfield enjoys crocheting, gardening, riding horses and caring for her Golden Retriever.
